Country and language are inexorably linked. The Mobile Language Team is dedicated to providing access to history, language and culture in the real world. Cultural trails provide a way for people to move through a landscape while learning about the unique features of the area.
Opened in 2019, two multi-use trails take visitors and locals on a journey through the language, culture and history of the Oodnadatta region.
Opened in 2021, the trail was developed by staff and students at Leigh Creek Area School, as well as members of the Leigh Creek Progress Association, to promote language, culture, land and history to the wider community.
