New year, new gear

For those who’ve known the MLT and our work for a while, you might recognise the Mobile Language Team t-shirts we wear when we’re out and about in communities, classrooms, and on the road. Well, we’re excited to share that our MLT apparel has had a bit of an upgrade! Alongside refreshed t-shirt designs, we’ve now added hoodies and hats to the mix.
These new designs were hand-drawn by MLTs own Celena Aardenburg. The designs illustrate the different indigenous languages and communities that exist in the South Australia area.
We recently had the chance to show off the designs at the Pitjantjatjara & Yankunytjatjara Language & Culture Program Summer School at Adelaide University’s Magill Campus, and it was great to see them out in the world. You can learn more about the summer school here. We’re looking forward to wearing these designs as we continue travelling and working with communities throughout the year.
